These fans were originally produced within the late 1800s by Snediker and Carr, the premier belt-drive fan manufacturer with their day. Fanimation has adapted this timeless masterpiece to install and operate with ease. Neoprene belting has replaced high-maintenance leather belts. Lead and copper babbitt sleeves have given approach to sealed ball bearings. Hardwood laminate blades that resist warping and splitting replace the temperamental solid wood blades. The fans feature black finish motors and reversible oak and walnut finished blades. Up to six fans can operate off one motor (additional fan assemblies sold separately).
